When can we see this on YouTube?

Mick,do the right thing and cancel the tour. Take the time to work things out so that you can have a proper farewell tour. If you are doing this for the fans, you should tour with the complete 5. Otherwise, it just looks like a pathetic cash grab! Show your legacy some respect.

Lindsey was the driving force of the band just like Peter in the 60'S HOWEVER LINDSEY STEERED ENGINEERED PRODUCED GAVE DIRECTION TO AN OTHERWISE DEFUNCT 60'S BLUES BAND Shame on you Mick,Stevie,John and Cristine nevervwill lwaste my money on any tours new music fleetwood mac produce without Lindsey

Lindsey earned his exit with continued abusive behavior towards Stevie Nicks, asking her to continue it is for money is unkind, rude and simply thoughtless fandom-- I think this new Fleetwood Mac will be an exceptional band with a better guitarist in Mike Campbell and an excellent singer Neil Finn.

Has it occurred to anyone that perhaps contracts are signed concerts are booked so that they have to tour or risk getting sued? That was certainly the case in 1987 when he quit the band at the last minute and all was signed before the said no.

I saw FM on Behind the Mask tour without Lindsey and it was great. As long as Stevie is there I will be too. Lindsey is obviously the problem. Lindsey and Christine went out alone and who cried about that? And that outing was AWFUL.

Mick Fleetwood is nothing but about cash grabs. Could care less about all 5. What I wanted and will always want is a Buckingham Nicks tour. Tgink about it...if it had not been for Stevie and Lindsey no one would remember Fleetwood Mac as anything but a mediocre blues band fron the 60s

I've been a die-hard FM fan since the 70's and have spent a fortune supporting this band. But between Stevie refusing to record new music with them (though she has no problem recycling and recording her old crappy songs that weren't good enough previously) and now Lindsey being so difficult they kicked him out, I'm kinda done. They should have done one final GREAT album. one final farewell tour and hung it up. Sad it ended this way.

Mike Campbell a better guitarist then Lindsey Buckingham? oh my God not even close

I have no interest in seeing a cover band-no matter how good the replacements are. I can go listen to any of their other cover bands when they come around and for much less money. I just hope you have screwed yourselves at least as much as you've screwed the (former) fans. All the excuses for not recording, writing...don't add up. When you're too old to tour, too old to get along with your co-workers,too old to compromise, too old to do whatever your next excuse is...retire and drift into the background. How much money do you need to live the rest of your lives comfortably anyway? I dare say most of those fans live like me-middle class neighborhood with a profession that pays for my not at all fancy food, fancy clothing or fancy shelter and charitable contributions. My family has been on one vacation in 30 years and we saved for two years to be able to go. As I looked forward to the tour, I looked forward to updating my old record collection as the tour approached, but now I won't be adding in that way to your profit margin either. I won't be watching any of your pretrip publicity either. If a band can be this-you are all persona non grata.

Perfectly said. I agree.

this might not be a popular statement, but....what if these new band members invigorate the band? What if this is a really good thing, maybe Stevie will be inspired to write some new songs and make a final FM albums. Can you imagine that album??? it could be fantastic!

I'm very excited for this tour and hope FM will consider putting out and EP at the very least.

No interest in this new band. I'm not wasting my money on a partial cover band.

To be fair Neil is a pretty decent guitarist too, all those decent riffs in Split Enz and Crowded House were all down to him.

Stay tuned for the next reunion tour, with Lindsey. Brilliant.

I have loved FM since the early '70's, and I'd hate to see them do another tour. Christine and Stevie can't sing anymore, and Stevie and Lindsay don't have anything new to say musically. It's past time for them to call it a career.

I used to be a fan. Not anymore. Mick is very greedy. Fire their best guitarist since Peter Green over alleged tour disagreements. How many people actually know who Neil Finn is outside of his homeland? Mike Campbell is a great guitarist but he is a heartbreaker. If Tom Petty was alive you can bet he would be giving Stevie Nicks heck for doing this.

There is no reason at this point to launch yet another GH tour with nothing to promote. Mick must really need money.

Love my FM, I will be there to see what transpires. As the old saying goes, the best is yet to come. Time will tell!

If there are contracts signed for a tour they will go everything they can to fulfill this contracts. Bands evolve - let's wait and see before any silly comments!!!

Fantastic to hear Neil Finn was part of the tour. Multi-talented legend and quietly humble too.

I'm looking forward to this new edition of Fleetwood Mac. I have been a fan since darn near the beginning. "Albatross" STILL makes regular rotation on my stereo. Looking back over the years, I sure am glad the Mac didn't call it a day after the original guitarists (Peter Green, Danny Kirwan, Jeremy Spencer) started leaving the band. I became a huge Bob Welch fan, both for his contributions to the group and his solo career. The world is glad the Mac didn't call it a day when Bob Welch left; that gave us Lindsey and Stevie and all of those great records. Lindsey opted out for the TANGO tour? No problem. I saw them with Billy Burnette and Rick Vito on that tour; terrific! "As Long As You Follow" is as good as any BN-era song and Lindsey is not around. Call me crazy, but I also enjoyed the short-lived version of the band that recorded TIME! Bekka Bramlett and Dave Mason added some great flavors to the mix. And so on and so on. Fleetwood Mac has always been about the sum of whatever parts make up the total at any given point in time. The Lindsey-era had its not-so-great musical moments as well as many musical triumphs just as all eras of the band have...as ANY band still going on since the sixties (the Stones come to mind) have. I'll be buying my tickets when they go on sale, and I will be prepared to enjoy another new dimension from an old favorite. Long live the Mac!

Stevie and Christine cannot sing anymore? I have seen Stevie alone twice and Fleetwood Mac twice in the last 3 years. I have to say that voices change somewhat with age but they CAN sing and Do sing well. You are so wrong.

Baruch said...

Let me get this right. Stevie can refuse to record with the band and insist on delaying a tour with the band, but then when Lindsey wants the same latitude the answer is no.

This is not on the up and up.

Tour dates already up buddy. I am not sure who is or isnt going to be there

lets look at the facts people, stevie Nicks put fleetwood Mac on the map with her songwriting and singing, as a fan of Buckingham Nicks and fleetwood Mac before and after there's no doubt she made the biggest contribution. Furthermore she's the only one that's been successful on her own with my favorite 'Live in Chicago DVD . I love them all but lets be honest Stevie's the real deal.

Totally agree

This is correct, by 79 people were buying far more tickets to see Mac with Stevie than people may realize, but when Bella Donna numbers came in sending her packing would have been suicide, people would have said they had lost their minds. Buckingham had to be bent, watching his ex-gf onstage with him and having a rising solo career going while his stalled, he needs to man up and never has.

Let the past be the past, fact is, the show must go on! However, millions of fans will wait for the real last tour with all 5 on stage. So until then, save your money for the last tour in . . . late fall of 2020! Hang in there Buckingham!
