Talk about pulling power. As season one nears its end, personal life collides with work for Ava (Maya Rudolph) and Reagan (Christina Applegate) when the demands of a dog and a newly mobile child threaten the booking of the duo’s dream guest for Ava’s talk show.

That’s none other than Stevie Nicks, who appears as herself in this episode. Hang around for a duet between Nicks and Reagan as the credits roll.

I'm convinced that Christina is wearing either the 1981 Rolling Stone Cover shot dress that Stevie wore, or it's the Marina Del Rey photo shoot dress... or the actual Bella Donna Album Cover dress... If not the full on version, at least the top with the sleeves. Christina confirmed it was a Stevie dress saying something along the lines of "it was beautiful" and that she felt "like a wind machine was following her".

Another really great night of STEVIE on TV 

Idol was awesome.. But nothing will top the ending of Up All Night! 

Stevie Nicks made an appearance on Up All Night tonight. While Reagan frets over booking her childhood hero, Chris has trouble accepting his age and decides to play hockey with a younger crowd. Ava is given a puppy, but worries she is not a positive influence on the young pet. Amy is close to walking on her own, but Reagan struggles to let go. 

Here are some (not so great) screen caps from tonights episode that Stevie Guest Starred on. The ending of the episode was a dream sequence in which Christina Applegates character Reagan envisions herself singing Edge of Seventeen on stage with Stevie... Christina had Stevie's moves down!  Right down to wearing one of Stevie's vintage Margi Kent creations + the beige boots... Fun episode!  We got to hear "Sleeping Angel", Edge of Seventeen... and Maya and Stevie harmonizing on "Whenever I Call You Friend".  They sounded beautiful together... All were short clips of the songs but cool to hear... Sleeping Angel is a must hear, search it out!

Up All Night‘s already talented cast has a special addition this week in the legendary Stevie Nicks. Reagan (Christina Applegate) and Ava (Maya Rudolph) want Stevie to appear on Ava’s talk show, but they aren’t having much luck as you can see in this exclusive clip for Thursday’s episode.
It seems moot to ask if you’re excited about the Fleetwood Mac songstress’ appearance because if you pressed play, you probably are. So instead, we’ll pose the same burning question we were left with after watching: Do you really think Nicks has the ability to hush babies and dogs with a single lift of her finger and dim the lights with a flick of her shawl? Honestly, we wouldn’t be surprised.

Stevie Nicks to play herself on NBC's "Up All Night"

Music legend Stevie Nicks is coming to NBC’s comedy Up All Night.

The singer will play herself in a guest-star appearance on the show. In an episode airing later this season, Reagan (Christina Applegate) and Ava (Maya Rudolph) will need to woo Stevie to get her to be on Ava’s talk show. The Fleetwood Mac singer’s last TV guest-star appearance was on Fox’s The X Factor last year.

As part of NBC’s midseason comedy plan, Up All Night will stick around in its 9:30 p.m. Thursday night slot for all of its 24 episodes. After, Parks & Rec will return April 19.
