UPDATE: Stevie Nicks In Your Dreams Documentary...

IN YOUR DREAMS DOCUMENTARY UPDATE:

Stevie says filming was from February to December, 2010 which we knew... She also says they edited it down from 100 hours down to 3 hours, then in the last four months, they edited it down from 3 hours to 1 1/2 hours.  She says it's like an old fashioned Rock & Roll Film.  She didn't announce a release date... But reports last week indicate that it should be out by the end of this year.  Interview was during the Songwriters Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony in New York City June 14th

Listen to the interview... Skip ahead to the 1:43 mark.  The Eagle 92.9

"We filmed it. And we filmed it from February to December. And it took them all year to actually edit it from 100 hours to three hours and in the last four months we've edited it down to an hour-and-a-half. Um, it's really a magical little film, because it really shows you -- it's like and old fashioned rock n' roll film about how, y'know, you go. . . My idea and Dave's idea was Led Zeppelin recording at the Grange. So we said. 'We have. . . I have a big old house, so let's record the record there' -- and that's what we did."

  5. She's been saying it's coming out for over a year now. I will believe it when I see it. I think they can't get any company to finance the release, which is sad.

  6. They should get it out by Christmas to coincide with an IYD re-release.

  10. "In Your Dreams - Reloaded". Add all the songs that didn't make the record & toss in the expanded documentary - would make my Christmas for sure!

  12. Ughh... I totally think they should have left it at three hrs!! It could have been a double dvd set! I know it won't happen, but it would be cool if they released both the 90min and make the 3hr version a deluxe fan edition, kinda like when they released IYD with the extra track "My Heart".

  13. I'm still hoping that they release IYD on vinyl! How great would that be?! Apparently Dave Stewart released album on vinyl.

  14. I know I am not alone in loving the "outtakes" and "demos" we have collected over the years, and true fans would pay to have "extended" versions of this, with the outtakes and "mistakes
" so that may be a consideration when offering the sales. I know it will be wonderful, and thank you for releasing it to share with us!

  15. I keep hoping that this documentary will be released,it's way past due! Now we are going to get a waterdowned version at the end of this year....bummer ! I would much rather put my hard earned dollar down on the 3 HR original. You can be sure most fans would rather have this documentary dvd in there hands now, instead of putting money down for tickets to a repeat of seeing Stevie tour with Rod Stewart...UGH !!!
Come on Stevie....give your fans what they really want !

  16. At this time, the IYD Doc will be available for fan and general public viewing in 2012. Financing has never been an issue. Please refrain from speculating. Thanks.
