FLEETWOOD MAC: McVie's Cancer Caught Early

John McVie's undisclosed cancer was caught early enough and he is in good spirits -- at least according to John Mayall, who employed McVie in the Bluesbreakers before he left to join Fleetwood Mac.

Mayall told 94.5 3WS he called his friend and says McVie is "very optimistic and together on it because it's such an early stage that it is treatable... He didn't seem like an ill person on the phone."

As a result of the treatments McVie is undergoing, Fleetwood Mac's Australian tour has been canceled, but their December 30th show in Las Vegas is still on their schedule.

  12. Great News!!! Wish I could plan on Vegas. Why did it have to be winter time. Why Vegas (makes for a 20 hr day up and back)? Why not LA as a last stop?

  14. To the post dec 4th in nz maybe cuz he needed treatment at home right awayfor one. You dont't expect him fly way back out their (miles and miles of flying)if he is up to it. right after his treatment. Dec 30th is 4 weeks later time to recover a little bit and does not have to go to far for these couple of shows. Come on man its common sense!

  19. Please consider a plant-based diet to help you fight this illness. Even better would be a raw foods diet. The research you'll want to conduct in order to believe me is definitely worth it, because YOU are worth it - this your LIFE and you deserve to live it out. I was saddened to read John being on chemo... please be careful. It might take away the cancer but then leave you susceptible to other cancers. I'd rather see you take cannabis capsule since people have gotten safe results. And what about Vitamin B17? Please educate yourself, John. We love you.
