New Stevie Nicks album sound bite No.3 from @DaveStewart... Plus Stevie's rockin' out in the studio.

Studio Chaos as usual
Again.... Mystery to me right off the bat!  Name that track!  Whatever it is, it sounds heavy and it's bangin'!
And Stevie's having a good time! 12 songs mixed... 4 more to go... 16 Tracks!!  The only words I can hear are "I would follow you anywhere... " and "How do I care" at the end.

Dave is such a tease!!!! LOVE what I am hearing, and I'm very grateful we get these "snippets."

This is so great, what a year this is turning out to be. We get a new Stevie album of old demos never used. And her early songwriting contains some of her best melodies ever, not to mention the lyrics.

Then we get a reunited Fleetwood Mac tour with all 5 members, how fantastic to have Christine back. To have Chris, Lindsey and Stevie all singing together is something we are all looking forward to. And then next year a new Fleetwood Mac album. As good as Say You Will was, what was missing was Christine's love songs and her keyboards. She balances out Lindsey's rough, rock style and Stevie's mystical fantasy world.

These soundbites from Stevie's album are wetting my appetite for the release of her CD. It's going to be hard to wait a year for the new Mac CD. I wonder if they'll do a new song or two on tour?

I know it doesn't have any of the lyrics, at least not from the known demo, but it reminds me of "Something Exquisite"

Is it, "I don't care" as opposed to "how do I care?" No idea which song it is either.

Is sounds just like Ghosts Are Gone. Give us something different Dave, please. Thank god Waddy is there.

I hear "kinda broken lost and silent"......

I don't recognize the lyrics either. It sounds like she says "One more time without you in it " at the end ? I also think it could be something exquisite.

I wish wish wish it is Something Exquisite.. it`s one of my fave demos. Whatever it is sounds stunning. I only hope Dave and Stevie are giving us a bit more "warmth" this time. As much as I love IYD I think some of the songs sound a bit "sharp" in sound.

Hope the new album is more old-school organic Stevie stuff....I know she was trying something different on a lot of IN YOUR DREAMS songs...lots of heavy messages...but sometimes it was hard to get through that album.....looking forward to the new "lost songs" collection....!!!!

Wow..I have listened to IYD > 1,000+ times with great ease. Never felt anything super heavy about it other than brilliance and super song transitions. I have never been a fan of Soldiers but totally respect her perspective and the lyrics are brilliant, despite all the kudos to LB for saving the song from being cut I think he ruined it. Thats the one I skip & ghosts are gone. Sounds like a cheesy ZZ-Top rip-off (shame on you Stevie & Dave) I just bet the outakes done previous to his (LB) involvement are awesome like most of her demos. Thats the whole thing. Her demos are beautiful and often effortless. Here she goes turning them into polished product. They will most likely become ghosts of their former selves. It will be interesting what she choses from her massive vault of outakes and demos. She probabaly has hundreds. Lets hope she will issue more even after she stops touring...
