The album was duplicated in real time from a 1:1 copy of the original flat analog master tapes. The result is a master-quality listening experience that captures the full dynamics of the recording without the surface noise or groove wear of vinyl. The 15 i.p.s. half-track 1/4” tape is produced to the IEC equalization standard on premium RTM LPR90 tape stock and stored on a 10.5” metal reel.

Fleetwood Mac’s 1975 eponymous release—affectionately dubbed the ‘White Album’—reinvented the band and permanently altered its trajectory. It signaled the arrival of newcomers Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks, whose pop sensibilities instantly clicked with Christine McVie’s melodic hooks and the veteran blues-rock rhythm section of Mick Fleetwood and John McVie. It took more than a year of continuous touring to catch fire, but Fleetwood Mac eventually climbed to #1, launching three singles into the Top 20: “Over My Head,” “Rhiannon,” and “Say You Love Me.” Now 9x platinum, this landmark release set the creative and commercial baseline for the band’s historic decade ahead.

Released on July 11, 1975, FLEETWOOD MAC was the band’s tenth studio album and the second named after the group, sharing its title with their 1968 debut. Often referred to by fans as ‘The White Album,’ it also introduced Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks into the group’s core lineup, joining Mick Fleetwood, John McVie, and Christine McVie. The chemistry between the five was immediate—and transformative. The album’s sound marked a break from the band’s blues-based roots, pivoting toward a melodic, harmony-rich approach that would come to define a generation of FM radio.

Christine McVie’s “Over My Head” was the first single from the album and the band’s first U.S. Top 20 hit. It was followed by “Rhiannon,” “Say You Love Me,” and “Landslide,” tracks that remain among the most beloved in the band’s catalog. While initial momentum was modest, the album gained traction through constant touring and word of mouth. Fifteen months after its release, Fleetwood Mac reached #1 on the Billboard 200 and went on to sell over 7 million copies in the U.S. alone.

Stevie Nicks Makes Significant Contribution to USC Keck School of Medicine

Stevie Nicks Makes Major Gift to Establish Endowed Chair at USC

Rock and Roll Hall of Fame singer-songwriter Stevie Nicks has made a significant contribution to the University of Southern California, helping establish a $3 million endowed chair in otolaryngology at the USC Keck School of Medicine.

The newly created Stevie Nicks and Joseph Sugerman, MD, Endowed Chair in Otolaryngology honors renowned Beverly Hills ear, nose and throat specialist Dr. Joseph Sugerman, a USC alumnus and longtime faculty member who has spent nearly five decades caring for performers and patients alike.

Nicks’ gift completed the fundraising effort for the endowed chair, which was also supported through contributions from several foundations and individual donors.

Reflecting on her longtime relationship with Dr. Sugerman, Nicks said:

"Through late nights on the road, years of touring, hours in the recording studio, I always knew I could count on Dr. Sugerman to be there to help keep my voice healthy, just as he does for his other patients. I am thrilled to have this opportunity to acknowledge his talent and insights and mark his many years of outstanding practice."

The honor recognizes a professional relationship that has helped sustain one of rock music’s most distinctive voices throughout a celebrated career spanning more than five decades.

Nicks’ connection to USC dates back to 1979, when Fleetwood Mac invited the USC Trojan Marching Band to perform on the title track of the band's landmark album Tusk. The collaboration later continued when the band joined Fleetwood Mac on tour.

According to USC officials, income generated by the endowed chair will support research, education, and patient care focused on vocal medicine and disorders affecting the ear, nose, and throat, ensuring continued advancements in a field that has played a vital role in preserving the voices of performers around the world.
