Tickets for the grandstand concerts at the 2010 Kansas State Fair go on sale tomorrow morning. Closing out the state fair September 19th will be ZZ Top with the Mick Fleetwood Blues Band.
Tickets can be purchased in person at the fair's ticket office in Hutchinson, or by telephone at (800) 362-3247 or at kansasstatefair.tix.com.

The member of classic rock band Fleetwood Mac will bring her show to the resort and casino's Event Center at 8 p.m. Aug. 25.

Interview with Elizabeth Cook on her Don Was produced new album Welder:
The article mentions that the Fleetwood Mac Tribute album (the country Rumours Tribute Album being produced by Don Was) will be a Target exclusive.
"Her father's profession provides the title of Cook's crackling new album, Welder, which producer Don Was helmed between jobs working on the Rolling Stones' Exile on Main Street outtakes and putting together a Fleetwood Mac tribute album for Target. "He has an excellent console-side manner," says Cook, 37, who's married to Nashville songwriter Tim Carroll. "Very wise. He speaks softly, but when he talks everyone listens."

Once again, some truly amazing vintage photos taken by Bill Hansen. I never get tired of seeing all these old photos from the 70's, especially ones through the lens of someone in the audience. Some of the best captures are from fans!! It must have been an amazing time to see live shows back then... Real artists up there playing and singing - not a lot of bells and whistles, or tricks.. Just the music... Thanks again Bill for the trip back to '77 in Seattle.
