awesome, must have been hard. question, is she going to come back to the SF bay area again on this tour, I saw her with Rod, but would love to see just her, I didn't get enough of her songs when they split the concert between them.
The feedback or something in the mic..i cant make out anything she is saying :(
The wind is wonderfully dramatic, but could have been dangerous and the stage structures could have fallen on her. Just like Cheap Trick's staging that blew off recently.
I was there last night AWESOME
I was also there last night and within a couple of minutes of her 4th (and unfortunately last) song, the wind died down. John Fogerty proceeded to play for well over an hour and I was disappointed in Stevie to say the least. Here, she just spoke of the brave soldiers at Walter Reed, and then she wusses out and leaves the stage. She could have come back out in literally 4 minutes. Boo. And I love Stevie. We just wanted more of her.
I had great seats last night for the Dallas concert. Absolutely PERFECT. Sincere love back and forth from Stevie to audience. She truly loves what she does. She truly can wrap you around her dreams
NEWS FLASH - this performance is what legends are made of - it's what the Greek myths, the Old Testament and the Frank Miller stories are about - Stevie has never seemed so powerful, so iconic, so resolute - and so beautiful - like you'd expect of Hera or Aphrodite or Demeter - names duly mixed up from Greek and Italian - she is a buffer against the Barbarians....
Setlist was Landslide, new song, Soldier's Song, and Rhiannon in Sturgis.
