Legendary rockers Rod Stewart & Stevie Nicks have announced plans to reunite this summer and reprise their highly acclaimed, co-headlining “Heart & Soul Tour.”

“I couldn’t be happier to be back on the boards with Stevie this summer,” Stewart said in a release “We had fantastic fun on the road together last spring and I’m thrilled at the chance to bring it to new cities and fans this summer.”

The pair's previous tour featured 3-hour performances, with individual sets by Stewart and Nicks, plus a handful of duets.

Tickets for the Nashville concert are $52-$152 and go on sale at 10 a.m. Fri. March 2 through the Bridgestone Arena ticket office, all Ticketmaster locations, ticketmaster.com or by calling 1-800-745-3000.

In a career spanning five decades, Rod Stewart has amassed an estimated 250 million in album and single sales and an incredible 16 Grammy nominations.  In April he will join the elite list of artists who are 2x Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees (as a solo artist and soon as a member of the seminal 60s rock band, the Faces). On March 24, he will return to Las Vegas for an 8-concert-run of "The Hits" - part of his immensely popular first residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace.

Stevie Nicks is a multi-Grammy Award Winner as a solo artist and member of the legendary Fleetwood Mac and a Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee.  Her new CD "In Your Dreams" debuted at No. 6 on the Billboard Top 200 Album Chart and has received glowing reviews from numerous outlets, including US Magazine who declared it "the best album of Nicks' four decade career."

  1. ^ You made me smile, your comment just 'reads' very sweetly, somehow.

Well, it's a good gig for her financially, and she gets to play to larger crowds- the Rod dates she appeared at all sold out last year, and Fleetwood Mad hasn't sold out regularly on tour since 'The Dance'-

    P.S. ^ Are you Mick Fleetwood? :)
    How disappointed he must be.

  2. Stevie is one smart cookie. Has any other female rock artist collaborated so successfully with this many varied talents? Touring with Rod keeps her name in lights, earns her a lot of money and reinforces the perception that she's still a top-tier act. Stevie's made in known she's not done with IYD and the documentary is the next step in bringing it to the world. Fleetwood Mac will regroup when the stars are aligned. Better to have her fully committed to FM and a new group of songs as opposed to rushing into something when she doesn't feel IYD has been given every shot possible.

  3. Nooooooooooooooooo! I'm mad as I want as much Stevie as I can get, but I'd CANT STAND ANY of rod's music. My ears would rather be filled with water than listen to that $hit. I hope she hits the road SOLO after, then hookups with Linds and the gang ASAP.

  4. A superstar like Stevie Nicks doesn't do it alone. There's an entire operation of people who work for and with her that she's compelled to keep employed. For theirs and her own sake. This is all about business and it seems that she and Rod do like each other, so I hope they pack 'em in, have a good time and make some dough (doesn't Rod have, like, 8 kids?).
