Looks like Stevie's new album may be released on vinyl

New week... New post from Dave.  The work will continue today at Dave's studio in Hollywood on Stevie's new album..... and it looks like the new album will find it's way to vinyl when it's released, which is pretty cool!

  2. If you read Daves response to a question on this facebook post when asked if it will be out on vinyl he says "yes"

  3. This was the question: 'Any chance the new album will be released on vinyl Dave? An IYD vinyl reissue would be awesome too.' And this was Dave's reply: 'yes Vinyl too.' Now this is exciting that the new album is going to be released on vinyl but I'm not sure by Dave's reply if that means that IYD is going to be as well. I really hope so!!!

  4. I can vouch for this, I was the one who asked the question about 24K being released on vinyl. In past conversations with Dave, he has suggested that a vinyl re-issue of In Your Dreams is on the cards, but at this stage it's just an idea - it would be a lot harder (and expensive) to re-issue an album onto vinyl than it is to have a brand new album made available on vinyl.

  5. I wish the Album were titled
    Stevie Nicks
    Wrapped in Velvet.
Then they could come up with a real cool way of letting everyone know they are from the vault.
Off topic sorry but, a guy can dream.

  6. I agree about the proposed title...not very "Stevie-ish." And it's not really needed to state they are "vault" songs, when they are just now being officially released as finished product, thus they are NEW songs written many years ago.

  7. Interesting how different fans have different ideas - I personally like 24K gold vault songs, if that indeed becomes the title. "24k Gold" is a cool demo while "Vault Songs" capture the essence of hidden treasures.

  8. I don't own a record player but I would definitely purchase a vinyl copy to add to my "Stevie Collection."
