Stevie Nicks Live at the WinStar World Casino

Thackerville, OK - September 21, 2012

Sold-out show last night in Thackerville, OK at the WinStar Casino.  This was show #2 in this short run of September shows that started September 15th in Vancouver and runs through September 27th in Estero, Florida.  Tonight she plays New Orleans (22nd), Monday - St. Petersburg, Florida (24th), Tuesday - St. Augustine, Florida (25th) and the last show in Estero, Florida on Thursday the 27th.

So the setlist reverted back to the original In Your Dreams setlist from the early part of summer prior to a few being dropped. Nice to see all the new tunes like "Moonlight", Annabel Lee and Ghosts Are Gone back in the set!!  "Love is" replaced Landslide as the closure to the show.

Stevie Nicks and Oprah's OWN Network rumoured to connect at St. Petersburg Show 9/24

After a pair of tours with Rod Stewart and the occasional reunion fling with Fleetwood Mac, rock 'n’ roll’s ultimate twirly girl returns for a solo show packed with her biggest hits. If recent setlists are any indication, you could hear Landslide, Edge of Seventeen, Stand Back, Gold Dust Woman, Dreams or any other Fleetwood Mac number.

Rumour has it Nicks might be bringing some television cameras to her show in St. Pete, supposedly to capture material for an upcoming project involving Oprah Winfrey’s OWN network.

Exciting!!  A number of months back Sheri Salata, President of OWN, mentioned on Twitter there was a possibility of Stevie taking part in the Master Class series on OWN... If the rumour is true, looks like it's inching one step closer!

Re/Max Official Announcement: STEVIE NICKS to Perform at Vegas Convention February, 2013

Re/Max made the announcement today that Stevie Nicks will be the featured artist to play the Re/Max convention set for February 28, 2013 in Las Vegas at the MGM Arena.  I'm speculating that given this is a one off performance, it's not likely to interfere with anything Fleetwood Mac!

VANCOUVER -- Sarah McLachlan's Voices in the Park concert held Saturday at Brockton Point in Stanley Park was a resounding success.

An estimated 11,000 music fans came through the gates for a full afternoon and evening of music and inspiration featuring performances by McLachlan, Stevie Nicks, Bryan Adams, Hedley, Jann Arden, and a special speech by former U.S. President Bill Clinton, who spoke about the importance of music in his life.

Stevie Nicks opted for a full-on rock display focused on the classics:

a cover of Led Zeppelin's Rock and Roll (fitting), Rhiannon, Gold Dust Woman and so on.

Garbed in the same shiny black-and-gold polka dot cape she said she bought for the Stand Back video in 1983, Nicks did the best she could to fight the evening chill -- "I'm from California," she said.

Her voice was strained, her range much more limited than in her glory days. Nicks wields a bewitching kind of aura but the magic in Edge of Seventeen was all but gone.

Saturday Night Hot Ticket: Voices in the Park
Catch one of Stanley Park’s biggest-ever concerts as music megastars including Sarah McLachlan, Bryan Adams, Stevie Nicks and Jann Arden take to the seaside stage to help raise funds for music education at Voices in the Park.

The concert is aiming to raise hundreds of thousands for the Sarah McLachlan School of Music, which provides free after-school music education to children facing tough social and economic circumstances.

STEVIE NICKS Brings her In Your Dreams Documentary To Mill Valley Film Festival

Exciting news!!  Stevie Nicks will be screening her In Your Dreams Documentary on the making of her album In Your Dreams at the Mill Valley Film Festival which takes place between October 4th to 14th at the CinéArts at Sequoia and 142 Throckmorton Theatre (Mill Valley) and at the Christopher B. Smith Rafael Film Center (San Rafael).  

Stevie's first announced screening takes place on October 12th at 6:30pm at the Smith Rafael Film Center in San Rafael. Stevie will be on hand after the screening to answer questions.  More screenings of the film to come... Also, Dave Stewart will be making appearances at some of the screenings.  No word yet on when and where.

The film is also the Official Selection at the Hamptons International Film Festival which runs from October 4th through 8th.  Great poster!

GREAT NEWS:
The film will eventually be available in all formats according to Dave Stewart, but first the big screen!
