FLEETWOOD MAC 'MIRAGE'
(RELEASED SEPT 23, 2016)
3CD/5.1 Surround Mix/LP Set Features Newly Remastered Sound, Rare And Unreleased Recordings
In 1982 Fleetwood Mac topped the U.S. Album Chart for five weeks with MIRAGE. Along with instantly recognizable smash hits like “Hold Me” and “Gypsy,” MIRAGE also features great album tracks like “Oh Diane,” a Top Ten hit in the UK, and “Straight Back,” a Top 40 hit on the Billboard Rock Chart.
The new deluxe and expanded editions of MIRAGE both include a second disc that has 19 tracks dedicated entirely to outtakes and rarities. Among the unreleased gems are early versions of several album tracks – “Empire State” and “Book Of Love” – along with outtakes for songs that didn’t make it to the album: “If You Were My Love” and “Smile At You.” There is also an unreleased cover of the Fats Domino classic “Blue Monday,” as well as the rare, extended mix for “Gypsy” that was used in the music video.
Exclusive to the deluxe edition of MIRAGE is a third disc that has more than a dozen live performances recorded in Los Angeles during Fleetwood Mac’s 1982 U.S. tour. Along with early hits – “You Make Loving Fun” and “The Chain” – the collection includes performances of MIRAGE standouts like “Love In Store,” “Eyes Of The World” and “Gypsy.”
The DVD-Audio disc contains both the 5.1 Surround and 24/96 Stereo Audio mixes of the original album. The set also includes a vinyl copy of MIRAGE. Available at Amazon and iTunes

In Concert (3LP 180 Gram Vinyl)
(RELEASED MARCH 4, 2016)
Fleetwood Mac unveiled a massive Deluxe Edition of its revered double album Tusk late last year that featured 22 previously unreleased live performances selected from the band s 1979-80 tour. Until now, those concert recordings have only been available as part of the set and only on CD and digitally.
All of the live music from the 2015 reissue of Tusk will be available on March 4 from Warner Bros. Records as a three-LP set. Pressed on 180-gram vinyl, the albums will be presented in a tri-fold jacket.
The music heard on IN CONCERT was recorded at four stops during the band s 111-show world tour promoting Tusk. This new collection serves as a worthy companion to the classic 1980 album Live. Although a few songs are duplicated from that album, including Say You Love Me, Landslide and Go Your Own Way, each performance on IN CONCERT is unique and taken from a different show.
IN CONCERT boasts 10 songs not heard on Live, including World Turning from the Fleetwood Mac s 1975 self-titled release, and The Chain from the band s best-selling album Rumours (1977), a Grammy-award winning juggernaut that has sold more than 40 million copies.
Several songs from IN CONCERT were recorded at the Checkerdome in St. Louis just a month after the release of Tusk, and only seven shows into the tour. Those performances capture the band already in top form on songs like Angel, Save Me A Place and What Makes You Think You re The One.
The rest of the performances were recorded several months later, including 11 songs from the band s six-night stand at Wembley Arena in London in June 1980. Among the highlights are That s Enough For Me, Sisters Of The Moon, and the Top 10 smash from Rumours, You Making Loving Fun. Available at Amazon

Fleetwood Mac Documentary and Live Concert
(Released on VHS 1980 - Released on Lazerdisc in 1981)
Fleetwood Mac is a popular music phenomenon - they've sold close to twenty million records over the past five years, but that's only part of Fleetwood Mac's story. They're also a group in which all five members make significant creative contributions: Lindsey Buckingham, Stevie Nicks and Christine McVie are enormously talented writers and vocalists. And with the deft, powerhouse rhythm section of drummer/manager Mick Fleetwood and bassist John McVie, this is a band that performs its music with immense style and originality.
Now you can see them in a history-making video presentation of the first live music they've ever filmed. This hour-long look at the making of "Tusk", Fleetwood Mac's 1979 LP, and the tour that followed it, is both a presentation of the band's music and a behind-the-scenes look at what it is that has held such diverse talents together. We're offered a chance to see new songs like "Save Me A Place" and "Never Make Me Cry" at their creation in the recording studio, plus "Sisters Of The Moon" and "Tusk" in concert. We also see "Angel" two ways - in it's live version and also as the group actually put it together in the studio.
The live shows were recorded before standing-room-only audiences at the st. Louis Checkerdome with the highest quality concert audio available, using several cameras positioned on stage plus hand-held cameras backstage and in the audience.
In addition, there are many intimate scenes of the group, at home, in the studio and backstage, reminiscing, creating and revealing the struggles and exhilarations of making that music. It's a rare chance to find out what makes a major force in contemporary entertainment tick.
