LOS ANGELES – Stevie Nicks, the legendary singer songwriter whose  highly acclaimed 30 year solo career includes seven studio albums, iconic hits, and record sales in the millions, will release deluxe editions with newly remastered audio and never before released live and recorded music from her first two solo albums Bella Donna and The Wild Heart. The end of October dual releases will come out in conjunction with the start of Nicks’ 24 Karat Gold Tour with Pretenders which begins in Phoenix on October 25. Complete tour schedule follows this release.

BELLA DONNA: DELUXE EDITION is a three-CD set and THE WILD HEART: DELUXE EDITION is a two-CD set. Both will be available on November 4. On the same day, newly remastered versions of the original albums will also be available on LP and CD. The music will be available digitally and through streaming services as well. A complete list of cuts on both deluxe editions follows this release.

"I've had so much fun reliving the making of Bella Donna and The Wild Heart while working on the liner notes and listening to all of the alternate versions and demo takes,” says Nicks. “The liner notes are so much more than liner notes. They are like a little novel. I tried to make whoever reads this feel like they were there. I think...I succeeded...."

Nicks joined producer Jimmy Iovine to begin recording songs for her solo debut, Bella Donna following the recording of Fleetwood Mac’s Tusk and subsequent tour.  The 1981 album was quickly certified platinum. Today, the album is 4x platinum thanks to Nicks classics like “Edge Of Seventeen,”  “Stop Draggin’ My Heart Around” (with Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers) and “Leather And Lace” (with Don Henley).

BELLA DONNA: DELUXE EDITION uncovers unreleased versions of “Edge Of Seventeen” and “Leather And Lace,” as well as rarities like “Blue Lamp” from the Heavy Metal Soundtrack and “Sleeping Angel” from the Fast Times At Ridgemont High Soundtrack. This deluxe edition also includes a concert from 1981 that features performances songs from Bella Donna along with several Fleetwood Mac favorites.

Nicks returned in 1983 with her follow-up, The Wild Heart, which peaked at #5 on the album chart and has been certified double platinum. The album produced hits like “Stand Back,” “Nightbird” and “I Will Run To You,” which features Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. THE WILD HEART: DELUXE EDITION builds on the original album with unreleased versions of “All The Beautiful Worlds” a session version of “Wild Heart” and “Garbo,” the B-side to “Stand Back.”

Stevie Nicks - Live in Concert 1981
(Filmed in Los Angeles at the Wilshire Ebell Theatre, the concert originally aired on HBO in 1982 and was issued afterwards on VHS and Lazerdisc in 1983)

Musical Enchantress in her recent concert tour!

Stevie Nicks is an enchantress. Her songs, some of the biggest hits in recent rock history, are filled with passion and atmosphere. And like her music, she exudes a sensual, mystical charm.

White Wing Dove, her recent concert tour, truly captures this provocative performer in all her glory. Decked out in her billowing chiffon and flowing shawls, she seems to float around the stage. One moment she is bouncing to "Edge of Seventeen's" pulsating beat, next she is strutting to the spirited "Stop Draggin' My Heart Around." When the pace slows, as in the melodic "Sara" her face is etched in anguish, while her eyes moisten for a heartfelt intro to "Rhiannon."
White Wing Dove runs the gamut from Nicks' Fleetwood Mac songs to hits from her recent solo album, Bella Donna. It shows her off as the dynamic artist that she is, in a performance music critics are calling one of the best pop-rock shows in years.

Stevie Nicks - I Can't Wait
(Music Video Compilation - VHS released 1986 )

In the mid-70's, when Stevie Nicks joined the already popular Fleetwood Mac, her highly distinctive, deeply sensual voice, and her intensely personal songs immediately helped propel the band to supergroup status. For her part in their immense popularity, she has emerged a major figure in contemporary music.

As of 1986, she has released three albums on her own and they all achieved platinum-record status. Each is distinguished by several huge hit singles and videos, and they have been collected here for the first time.

From "Bella Donna" comes her concert video of "Leather and Lace" and her haunting duet with Tom Petty on "Stop Draggin' My Heart Around."

Hits from "The Wild Heart" album are the defiant "Stand Back" and the sensually choreographed "If Anyone Falls."

From "Rock A Little," two hits are featured, "Talk to Me" and the title track video of "I Can't Wait." Both are stunning visual extensions of Stevie's compelling and truly unique mystique. In all of rock and roll, there is no one quite like Stevie Nicks. Now her solo video debut is here. And the wait is over.

All the videos (with the exception of "Leather & Lace") from the "I Can't Wait" compilation were issued on DVD and included with the CD/DVD collection "Crystal Visions... The Very Best of Stevie Nicks" released in 2007.
