CHART UPDATE: Fleetwood Mac's "The Very Best Of" on the UK Charts

For the week of September 11, 2010 on the official UK Albums Chart Fleetwood Mac's 2009 double disc release moves down to #81 from #41 last week.  This is the 4th week back in the top 100 and it's 225th week on the chart (225 weeks combines the 2002 & 2009 release).

IT HAPPENED....

In 1982, the three-day 'US' Festival opened in San Bernardino, California on September 3rd. More than 400,000 people turned out to see bands like The Cars, Fleetwood Mac and Talking Heads. The show was expected to bring in ten million dollars, but lost money because of artists like David Bowie and Van Halen demanded huge fees.  Fleetwood Mac would appear on and close out the festival on day three September 5th.
