Last tune in Ridgefield last night.  Requests being shouted out from the audience, "Tusk" being one of them.  Lindsey says he can't take requests now but next time he promises to and says that "this is just the first stage of this thing,  there is a lot of potential".

Few individuals rise to the incredible atmospheric status of international celebrity. Through incomparable talent in artistic, political, literary, scientific, and athletic endeavors, it seems that these people are truly “gifted”. We have found that many of the world’s great public figures are also exquisite fine artists. After searching for the treasure, we have assembled a stunning collection of works of art at Mouche Gallery from these celebrities and public figures. Some have achieved broad recognition among art critics. Many remain unknown, awaiting discovery. All are remarkable and extraordinary. There has never been a presentation that has featured these significant works of art… until now.

On June 18th Mouche Gallery spotlights one of these legendary artists, Mick Fleetwood, and invites you to take a closer look of the beauty surrounding us, making the overlooked visible, giving breath to the life of a rose. As the drummer and co-founder of the iconic band Fleetwood Mac, he has sold over 100 million records worldwide and is an inductee of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Mick has traveled the world observing our planet from a very unique point of view.  “The world of nature is something I have always been passionate about and it has been a huge inspiration for my photographs. The camera lens is like a magic window that transports me into a secret world. In that world I observe shapes and details that I might not generally see even though the subjects are right before my eyes. I am fascinated by the intricate structure and design found in nature, and through my photography I hope to unveil this invisible world that sometimes goes unnoticed.”  -Mick Fleetwood

"Whenever you go see a member of a landmark band out on the road in a solo setting there exists certain expectations on both sides of the fence. For the singer-songwriter it’s hope that the audience will support their current work apart from the entity which made them notable. On the flip side, some members of the audience anxiously wonder whether the talent will omit certain hits from the set that connected them to said artist in the first place. On Tuesday night, Fleetwood Mac founding member Lindsey Buckhingham took to the stage of Manhattan’s B.B. King’s Blues Club for the second of two sold out nights and literally bull-dozed any of these expectations immediately. LocalBozo.com was front and center for a show that beautifully married his prolific work with Fleetwood Mac and his much beloved solo efforts."

Brace Yourself - Lindsey Buckingham "Rock Away Blind" Live in NYC

Lindsey Buckingham Live - B.B. King Blues Club
New York City, NY - June 5, 2012

"ROCK AWAY BLIND" LIVE
Wow!... On the second night at The B.B. King Blues Club last night in New York City, Lindsey takes a detour away from his usual setlist and treats the audience to "Rock Away Blind" by request!  "Rock Away Blind" has never been played live except for once instance back on November 4, 2011 during his appearance at the 92Y event.  The song is a great album track, one of my favourites and sounds pretty fantastic for an unrehearsed moment up on stage... Lindsey says at the end of the video that his sound man is probably going "what the fuck was that?"

A couple of other things to note is Lindsey says at the beginning of this video that he's not ready to do it yet but he's thinking on the next leg (of the tour) he'll start taking requests.  That would be really cool if he did and would really shake up the live show setlist.  Whether his remark on "the next leg" is confirmation of more dates beyond June 16th, I'm not sure, but it looks like it's part of his plan and backs up what was in earlier press releases saying more dates around the country were to follow.

Thank you to those that requested Lindsey play this... and a BIG thank you to tgrpaws for capturing it on film!

Chart Updates: Fleetwood Mac Australia & UK + Ken Caillat Book Signing Events

AUSTRALIA - June 4, 2012
Fleetwood Mac's 2CD "The Very Best Of Fleetwood Mac" surges back into the top half of the Top 100 Albums Chart re-entering the chart at #49 this week helped along no doubt by the discounted album price of $9.99 at JB Hi-Fi. The album needs to spend just one more week within the top 100, which it likely will, to mark it's 300th non-consecutive week in the Top 100. The album also re-enters the top 10 on the Top 50 Catalogue Chart moving from #14 last week to #6 this week.  Rumours also re-enters the Top 50 Catalogue Chart this week at #34 after being absent for awhile.

Fleetwood Mac's 1975 song "Landslide" was covered by Karise Eden on Australia's "The Voice" TV show. The song is included on "The Voice: The Final 24" album.  That album entered the Australian Top 100 Albums Chart at #26. Karise's version of Landslide was the highest charting song from the album entering the Top 100 Singles Chart at #14 and also #14 on the Top 40 Digital Tracks Chart. Fleetwood Mac's original version of Landslide from the white "Fleetwood Mac" album earlier today was the No. 1 Rock Song on iTunes Australia.

UK - June 9, 2012
Rumours in the UK hangs on for one more week on the Top 100 Albums Chart moving from #81 last week to #99 this week.  The album remains within the top 10 on the Top 40 Catalogue Chart.

Review: Lindsey Buckingham creates orgasmic moment onstage

Lindsey Buckingham creates orgasmic moment onstage
Providence, RI - May 30, 2012

Examiner

"My favorite moment happened about half a dozen songs into the set. The room suddenly went quiet. We all knew something good, something holy was about to happen. When the familiar guitar riffs of "Never Going Back Again" gently teased their way into our psyches, the entire audience responded, then seemed to hold its breath. An act of lovemaking was about to begin."

The words came hesitantly, almost in a whisper.

"She broke down... and let me in..."
