Rumours was remastered and re-issued in 2004 as a 2CD set that included outtakes and demos. Amazon confirms the disc out outtakes is that exact disc, so essentially they re-remastered the 2004 release, added a Vinyl and the Rosebud film along with a live disc.

Preordered the big box set today and need to go back and change to overnight shipping. 83 bucks is a great price i think.

I wish someone musically literate could tell the band to look at the incredible australia 77 rhiannon i saw for the first time today, and to listen to the 79 rhiannons-- no, i don't expect the rough vocal, but the ''fast'' part near the end NEEDS the fast repetition of 'dreams unwind, loves a state of mind no' , or, 'did you dreams unwind, is that what you want' or any variation of what was done mostly in 79 and not since. Very rock and roll. LOSE the now flat and too-many 'all the same, all the same, rhiannon, all the same' that her voice doesnt have the edge anymore for it not to sound lazy and flat. She needs the ''more words'' of the 'unwind' at the finale, as she can still sing well now with an edge 'on the beat'- IF she has the rhyming extra words, so the ''fast'' repitition of the 'unwinds' would sound WAY rockier than the 'all the same' in the low key that has made 'rhiannon' sound dead on stage since 1997.

So, anyone who knows what i badly explained that can state it well to the band, it will make Rhiannon come alive again. And w technically right words, leave out what sounds insulting- I just want to help, don't want to insult SN but Rhiannon needs a vocal facelift before the tour. Can't wait to get the boxset.

What could possibly be insulting about thinking the song has been sung in a flat monotone that has made the welsh witch sound dead for 15 years?
You're spending on the big box, they won't care, and probably won't change the arrangement. Me, I'm tired of 'The Nutcracker'-esque introduction to the song- just Lindsey's guitar, no airy fairy intro needed.

"Unwind, state of mind, hard to find" -
would all work better, though. True.
Is that what you want?

I must say I am not too exited. There are NO new songs...nothing recorded but still in the vaults..ok...we will get versions of versions of versions...but where are Stevies Demos???

Stevie is way too old to do the old theatrics that came along with early "rhihannon" and "sisters of the moon" performances. Even though she is still quite capable of a fantastic vocal performance, the fire has been dimmed considerably in her live performances, which is understandable given her age.

Look at how much energy Mick Jagger has and he is 69. If he can still do it, Stevie can too. They need to bring back the guitar solo during Rhiannon!!! Stevie should move around more, shes not that old yet. I think she could perform Rhiannon like she did on the Mirage Tour

Mick Jagger has always remained in tip top shape, Stevie, not so much. Dont' forget, Mick is the exception to the "age 70 type of body" rule.

considering the touring that Fleetwood mac did for the release of the 'Rumours' album, I think it would have been better to release not just the 'Rosebud' dvd but maybe a full concert of the 'Rumours' tour...not just clips,it would have been a better decision for two dvd's. What a waste to re-release what most fans already have. It would be great if Stevie released some of the demos she has locked away plus any concerts from the 1980's.....wishful thinking !

Somebody clear it up for me, took to me like I am four year old -are the session outakes here the same ones found on the 2004 edition?

You only get the 2004 demo cd if you buy the delux version that includes the vinyl. That delux set includes the new disc of demos + the 2004 disc. if you buy the 3 cd version the outtakes or demo disc is the newly released demo disc not the 2004 version.
