So freaking excited for this project!!!!! This is the perfect release from Stevie to get us in the mood for new Fleetwood Mac music. I hope she gets in a few promotional spots on TV and maybe one or two live shows before Fleetwood Mac rehearsals begin.

This sound and style is exactly right for today's Stevie. I just went from ambivalent to excited!

Awesome. I hope there are more sneak peeks. "It gives me shivers" Sorry I couldn't help it. I hope we get hope it won't be long before it's released, I can't wait to find out what's on the list!!!!

Well now we know one song on the album....
I don't think anyone thought of this song.
I can't believe Stevie chose Starshine for the album.
Though it is a good song.

"Starshine" always reminded me of "Saturday Night's Alright for Fighting" by Elton John.

Not my favorite demo ever, but still excited!!!

I agree with the poster above. I'm excited about this album but I'm not crazy about this song. Either way, I'm sure this album will be great :)

Why isn't Stevie playing the tambourine part herself? Get in there and do that girl....you can do it! :)

Ok... Starshine has never been one of my faves but it`s good... but as so often, some of Stevies songs need to grow on me to discover the bits and pieces that sparkle so beautifully,,, still hoping for Something Exquisite, All The Beautiful World and especially City Of Hope.....and I hope that we will get a delux edition with all the songs recorded so that some of the songs won`t end up in the vault again...this would be too say to dust them off just to let them put dust on again

I think its sad stevie doesn't have any new songs to put out, these old ones have been around for years so its not really a new album : (

Wow...
Christine and Lindsey have gotten one song and a few demos done, while Stevie has 17 songs done. In three weeks!! She is proving that she is the rock and roll queen.

If I were Stevie, I wouldn't even do this. With the constant criticism regarding what songs she has selected for this new CD to the complaints that the songs aren't new, why even make the effort? Even though the recording of this CD has been quickly completed, it still takes time and a lot of effort. Stevie's fans claim to love her and yet they are the most critical. You don't see this with Christine's or Lindsey's fans.

who are the people in the clip that was posted besides, stevie, Karen, Waddy? Who is this engineer? can anyone make out who is playing in the booth tamb?

@ the Anonymous poster who said Stevie shouldn't do this project due to criticism... This project isn't about commercialism, it's likely more of a love letter from Stevie to all her diehard fans who've had these demos for years and years. It's also the perfect type of album to release prior to jumping back into Fleetwood Mac with both feet; she can give all her newly written material to the band and do a special solo project for her fans.

to the person above-
right now, it does not matter

Responding to a comment above, which is one I see on other threads. Why do people assume Stevie has no new music? I would bet money she has several new demos ready to go for Fleetwood Mac. This type of album is the perfect type of album to release prior to a new Fleetwood Mac record because it frees up all of her new stuff for the band. 'Trunk Songs' or whatever she ends up calling this record is a sort of "valentine" to her fans who've wanted these songs finished for years, and allows her to release a record without spending a lot of time promoting it.

I don't understand why people are over analyzing this.....just be happy Stevie is still releasing music - old or new.

I hope she includes the song "Watchdevil", one of my favorite old demos she's never put on a record.

I realize it was recorded for Fleetwood Mac's 'Tango in the Night,' but since it appears unlikely 'Mirage' and 'Tango' are ever going to receive the same remaster/upgrade treatment as 'Fleetwood Mac,' 'Rumours,' and 'Tusk' I would love to see Stevie update "Joan of Arc." Some of my other favorite demos include "Space Needle," which I think is from the 'Trouble in Shangri-La' sessions and "Sanctuary," "China Doll," and "All the Beautiful Worlds."

I think it's awesome that even though she wasn't happy about how all these songs got out, she honours her fans enough to release them officially because we love them THAT much. I love Stevie, and she knows how much her music means to us and doesn't make us feel stupid or guilty for that. So many famous people get mad about being a "celebrity" and are annoyed by fans, but her giving us these songs is just plain old kind hearted. So poo on the haters.

I sure hope Stevie adds Belle Fleur to this album. It has always been my favorite of those songs never properly recorded. I look forward to this release. I think it's a very important CD to finish. Long-time fans of Stevie have all at some time or other wanted to hear finished product on many of these songs. Everyone has their favorites, etc., and now many of them will finally be properly recorded. I think it's so very great!!!
