David Wild just finished new liner notes for Fleetwood Mac

Interesting tweet from David Wild. David has written many if not all the liner notes on Fleetwood Mac's recent reissues.... Could this be Tango?

Tango or the original 1980 Live. Either way, I'd be perfectly happy.

I know 1975's "Fleetwood Mac" has already been reissued, but I wish they'd give it the same treatment as Rumours or Tusk...add alternates, outtakes, demos.....

he also wrote liner notes for various FM band members' NEW releases........

Lindsey or Christie would have no problem writing a song or two for Stevie to sing. Lindsey could help Stevie stretch her vocal creativity or at least maximize Stevie's uniqueness. This morning I listened to Lindsey's song "Down on Rodeo" and I think Stevie would sound great singing it. I am sure Christine McVie could and would write a couple excellent songs for Stevie Nicks to sing. I hope Lindsey and Christie get Stevie Nicks in their studio in January 2017!

One way or another I am looking forward to buying a new Fleetwood Mac album as soon as possible with or without Stevie Nicks.

Hope to see Time reissued! (just kidding)

^^ Yes, NONE of our collections would truly be complete unless TIME made its way back out in the world, remastered, revisited, and still sucking. ;)

i'd be interested in what they'd do with the dvd (should there be one) for a "tango" re-release...

there was a documentary and a music video for "tusk" that was released when the original "tusk" album was released in 1979... but the re-issue two years ago didn't include them on the dvd...

then for "mirage," there were two ground-breaking (for the time) music videos for "gypsy" and "hold me," as well as the HBO concert that aired in 1982... but neither of these were released with the "mirage" re-release from a couple of months ago... what we got instead was only the remastered audio from the video...

similarly, stevie's "bella donna" re-release also had the music video for "stop draggin' my heart around" as well as an HBO concert that was not included on the re-release from this year...

BUT... the "rumours" re-release DID include a dvd of the rosebud concert...

we uber fans want these things - the videos, the concerts - so that we feel like we've gotten the entire experience from the artist. i was bummed that "mirage" and "tusk" had no video footage...

"tango" has three music videos - "big love," "little lies," and "seven wonders"... as well as the "tango in the night" concert video from warner music video... as a fan, i'd like to see warner bros. put an entire audio AND video package together so we uber fans can get EVERYTHING in one place...

hey warner bros... please pay attention!!! please get this one right...!

That album was done VERY quickly, I doubt there is much else.

The new liner notes are probably for the Tango in the Night album. Tango in the Night is my least favorite album of the six most popular...
Fleetwood Mac Rumors Tusk Mirage Tango in the Night Say You Will

I'd prefer to see and hear some brand new unreleased Fleetwood songs or maybe a Lindsey Buckingham solo song than any song from the Tango in the Night album at a 2017 live Fleetwood Mac show.
