The best part of the article was the picture caption. "Taylor Swift, Left and Stevie Nicks"
Like we needed to be told who was who???
Classy lady that she is, no comments from Stevie Nicks. I still want to know who's hand that was Stevie was holding in the backstage pictures??

Stevie has been criticized all year for her weak vocal performance on tour. This is no exception. Maybe, this will help her try a little harder. I'm afraid though that this is just going to hurt her. I don't know if anyone is going to work with her after this. Everyone is talking about this. More people in history watched the grammys this year and they half-assed this. Stevie is getting backlash, too. By the way, it doesn't look like her appearance helped her sales. Nothing has changed on itunes or Amazon. I was hoping this would push her DVD to Gold, but who is going to want that after this. This has been more a nightmare, then a fairytale.

This has become the funnyist thing in Stevie's career for years now. Stevie has since she started touring with Fleetwood Mac received lots of negative reviews of live performances. Those were mostly due to the drug years and if she was too high to sing. But as we all know when she's not high, she sings beautifully. And now 35 years since she's been singing for the world, she winds up as part of the worst Grammy performance of all time. But she escapes any bad press, since it was Taylor Swift's horrible singing that ruined their duet. And Stevie is being written about by all as the rock icon, legend she is. Time will take care of Ms. Swift's lack of singing ability, and Stevie's great photos have just been in papers all over the world.

Yeah, but it hasn't increased Stevie's sales at all. You are right though. People are ignoring the fact that Stevie sounded just as bad.

I think Stevie was fine at first, but then when she heard Taylor sining so off key, she tried to adjust her key to fit Taylors. But she soon realized Taylor kept changing keys, it made Stevie seem off to. Remember one of Stevie biggest talents is harmonizing with other singers. Uh like Lindsey, Christine, Kenny Loggins, Tom Petty, Don Henley, Bruce Hornsby, Natalie Maines, Sheryl Crow. So it would be hard to blame this Grammy mess on Stevie in any way. She was trying in vain to save Taylor's ass.

Stevie is so way past the importance of increased record sales mattering at this point in her career. She has been the Queen of Rock for 35 years now, get a grip! And all the press about the Grammy's has been extremely positive for her. Every article blames it all on Taylor, not Stevie. This will not hurt her in any way.

Is Stevie going to respond to all this crap?

Seriously, you guys thought that even if Stevie and Taylor had pulled off an immaculate performance, this was going to shoot Stevie's albums sales back into registering in the Top 200 on SoundScan? Taylor connects with the generation that buys by the song not by the album (unless they connect with the artist). That's why when you go to a Taylor concert you see a bunch of cowboy hat and sundress wearing, screaming tweenies. Her songs are simple and speak to those angst-filled years of middle school and high school. Yea, these girls might go download 'Rhiannon' after all is said and done but not the whole album because Stevie doesn't speak to that generation. It's a totally different climate for the industry these days.
