NEW DATE: Stevie Nicks Live in St. Petersburg, FL Sept. 24th Tix Onsale Aug 11th

With rumors (sorry about that) of a 2012 Fleetwood Mac reunion swirling in the air, Stevie Nicks will sate her solo jones with a Sept. 24 gig at the Mahaffey Theater in St. Petersburg.

Now 64, the mystic Gold Dust Woman will play tracks from 2011 album In Your Dreams as well as her sweet solo blasts (Stand Back, Edge of Seventeen, If Anyone Falls) and Mac attacks (Rhiannon, Dreams).

And don't be fooled by the scarves and soft lighting: Ms. Nicks likes to TURN IT UP in concert, a robust volume her rock paramours (Don Henley, Lindsey Buckingham) would appreciate.

Tickets for the 7:30 p.m. show go on sale at noon Saturday (Aug. 11) and can be purchased at TheMahaffey.com, (727) 893-7832 or at the Mahaffey box office (which is open noon-6 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday). Ticket are $65, $85, $115, $125 and $175. The theater is at 400 First St. S., next to The DalĂ Museum.

This is the perfect kind of venue that Stevie should seek to play!

Very nice news! Go, Stevie. She's working hard and sounding great.

In other nice news, a very famous woman declared 'love' for Stevie then added 5 o's in 'so sweet' and 3 o's in 'so talented' describing SN.

This should be a great show. I believe the Mahaffey has only 2,030 seats. This would be the most intimate venue I have ever seen Stevie. Possible other Florida solo gigs?? Hard to imagine the lengthy trek down without another show along the way.

rumours is still an accepted spelling ;)
