"Sad Angel"
One of the new songs Fleetwood Mac debuted last night in Columbus, Ohio.
This sounds spectacular... I Love it!!

Check out this close-up version (from the front row). The sound is distorted but it's Lindsey up-close.  Plus this version from the back of the house.

WITHOUT YOU:
BIG LOVE:
DREAMS:
TUSK:
STAND BACK:
GO YOUR OWN WAY:
RHIANNON: What happened to the Rhiannon outfit!
LANDSLIDE:
SAY GOODBYE: Perfect ending! Sounds so great!

My aunt is a gifted clairvoyant (she worked 25 years for the FBI in the "missing persons" division). This is what she told me:

"Stevie and Lindsey are more in love now than they ever were".

Thanks for posting these. Love Sad Angel, especially that guitar solo at the end. Nice. I get teary-eyed hearing Say Goodbye, it's so beautiful. Oooh, and some Bucky-Nicks too! Hurry up and get here, May!

The energy of this tour is much different and better than the last. I really like the set-list and SAD ANGEL is a great song - can't wait to hear the studio version. WITHOUT YOU is beautiful and sweet. I can hear the Hollywood Bowl from where I live, but I don't have tickets! Argh! Waited too long.

Stevie seemed a bit lost on Rhiannon but otherwise her voice sounds great! Strong and rested. Go Mac!

Hmmm, I find this interesting seeing as how the FBI DOES NOT endorse nor recommend the use of psychics nor clairvoyants in law enforcement. Actually, it is the policy of the FBI that such individuals be used as a last resort and as an investigative tool with caution. Their word is never taken as fact and psychics/clairvoyants never solves crimes; law enforcement agents do that. What you see on CSI and what happens in real life are two distinctly different things.

And if your aunt is spouting off that kind of nonsense, isn't it a good thing the FBI doesn't use them?

As for the songs, I am incredibly underwhelmed by Sisters of the Moon and Without You. While the music itself isn't bad, Stevie simply isn't the same singer she used to be. Her voice has deteriorated so much in the past few years that it's just painful to listen to her. The way she pronounces her words sounds like a six year old trying to fake a really, really bad Brooklyn accent. I still enjoy listening to Stevie but I do not like to listen to anything past Trouble in Shangri-La because it's all been junk and her nasally voice is too grating to really enjoy.

At this point, for me, the only thing that can salvage the modern Fleetwood Mac would be for hell to freeze over and Christine to come back.

You people that can't get past 1985 and want Stevie to sound like she did when she was 35 years old then listen too your Bella Donna and Wild Heart albums till you choke! Get over it already. If you don't like the music now then why the hell are you even on this website? I'm sure most of you that were around for concerts back then arent looking to swell or sounding that great yourselves! At least she is still working and touring! Be thankful rather then being such negative bitches!

Wow. Ouch.

"You people that can't get past 1985..."

Quick lesson here:
"too" means also
"to" means direction, purpose, position, etc.
"two" means the numeral two
They all sound the same, but are not used the same. Learn it. Use it.

Speak for yourself about not looking swell or sounding that great. I've been around and been a fan since the beginning. I was a fan of FM/SN before most of you who read this blog was even born, I'd wager. I look pretty damned good. I don't get any complaints. ;-)

Everyone is entitled to their opinions whether they be positive (which is apparently all the fans want to hear) or negative (Flying Monkeys--ATTACK!!!). If I'm a "negative bitch" for actually having an opinion, does that mean you are a "stubborn, closed-minded bitch" for refusing to even entertain that everyone doesn't have to think the same way as you?

It would be a pretty shitty world if we all had to like the same things, wouldn't it? If that was the case, whether Stevie Nicks has still got it or not would be a non-issue.

I'm a gifted clairvoyant as well, and my spirit guide - he's called Talib Hebab, in life he was an ice cream seller from Skegness - and he says you're talking rubbish and that you need to grow up, get a grip, and go outside.

He's laughing AT you. Not WITH you. And so am I!

Anyway, insanity aside, the songs are a bit of a blunder. SOTM has no real vocal melody here, there's no key change at all. Monotone I guess is what I mean. How is it that Stevie can produce a record that was so vocally strong as In Your Dreams and then come out live and sing so terrible? It's really disappointing.

As for "Without You", well, it's probably the last track I would have wanted to hear from that period. It's just not a very good song. There were far better tracks that actually appeared on Buckingham/Nicks that could have been done here. Is "Without You" going to be passed off as a new song on this EP they're releasing? I hope not. It's a fail.

And finally..

"You people that can't get past 1985 and want Stevie to sound like she did when she was 35 years old then listen too your Bella Donna and Wild Heart albums till you choke! Get over it already. Yes, because as long as someone can get on stage and do something they should be praised? What if it's rubbish? Stevie can't sing these days - at least not live - and it's not enjoyable. Should I just take it up the butt and say it's good when it isn't because you don't want to hear it?

Oh well, I'm sorry for being a negative bitch, you annoying and petulant child.
