The true secret of Stevie's shawls to be revealed in “The Magical Delights of Stevie Nicks” #AHS

Ryan Murphy Talks Self-Policing, Jessica Lange’s Exit, and What’s Next on American Horror Story: Coven

Here's the section on Stevie.

Let’s talk about Stevie Nicks! She’s in two episodes, and she’s singing. Tell me more.
The title of episode 10 is “The Magical Delights of Stevie Nicks,” so she’s heavy in it. She was a trouper and came in and did a song. Everyone came in for it. She did autographs and photographs. She was very cool. She talked a lot with the actors and watched, and she was really good in her scene. Later, she called me and said, “You know, I’ve been watching the show obviously, and I’ve been reading the scripts, and do you know you’re doing on the show something I wrote a song about with Fleetwood Mac back in the day? It was a B-side of one of our singles.” And she said the name of the song, which I won’t reveal, and I was like, “Of course!” She thought she should sing that song to the girls, so we booked her for another day, and we did another song, which will be in the finale. Any time you can do anything with Stevie where you can find out the true secret of her shawls is amazing.

So you’re promising to reveal that?
Oh, yeah! The Secret of the Shawls.

.... So, am I the only one thinking "Silver Springs" as the b-side to one of the singles?  And it looks like she'll be singing this song in the final episode of the season at the end of January.

Also... So many have already referred to the title of Stevie's episode as "The Magical Delights of Stevie Nicks".  This article is calling the episode "The Magical Charms of Stevie Nicks". I think the former is the correct title.

Stevie Nicks sings and acts in American Horror Story AND she may return for second episode!

Ryan Murphy interview with Entertainment Weekly about last nights American Horror Story: Coven (Nov 20th - Ep7)

You tweeted a photo of Stevie Nicks on set filming her upcoming guest-spot. How did it go?

You know Stevie is just fantastic. I don’t think Lily Rabe has recovered. She was great. She gets to sing. She does a little acting, which she was great in. The great thing is Stevie has some wonderful ideas based on some of her songs so we were like, “Oh we’re going to use that.” So we’re actually going to try and have Stevie come back and do another episode because she’s so good.

Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham Working on Special Song for American Horror Story

'American Horror Story': Ryan Murphy talks the latest episode 'Boy Parts' and Stevie Nicks' influence on 'Coven'

The second episode of Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk’s American Horror Story: Coven was chock-full of plot developments, including the resurrection of seemingly dead Misty (Lily Rabe) and Kyle (Evan Peters) and the reveal that modern-day Marie Laveau (Angela Bassett) has kept alive her minotaur lover! EW talked to Murphy about all the twists and turns as well as a preview of next week’s AHS: Coven.

ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY:  I love that Misty is a big Stevie Nicks groupie.

RYAN MURPHY: She is obsessed with Stevie Nicks because I am obsessed with Stevie Nicks.

You actually asked Stevie to use her music on the show, right?

Yeah, the whole thing started with the fact that when I was growing up, I was always obsessed with those Stevie Nicks songs like “Riannon” and “Gypsy.” And I remember reading an article where Courtney Love called Stevie Nicks the “white witch” and Grace Slick the “dark witch.” And I have a good relationship with Stevie because of Glee. She is one of the few artists that have come to hang out. She had been writing Lea [Michele] and I regularly since the Cory [Monteith] situation, because she really loved Cory [who passed away in July]. So she’s just a wonderful, wonderful person.

When we got to this witch idea, I thought, if you’re Misty and you have grown up alone and you don’t know any other witches, there’s one witch you probably would know and that’s Stevie Nicks. So I called Stevie Nicks and first I said, “I want to use you in the show.” But she was very resistant because from the beginning of her career people who are in the Wiccan community had given her a hard time thinking she was a witch and she got a lot of scary fan letters. She didn’t like the darkness of that, and I explained to her the part and she’s like, “Aw f—, let’s just do it. OK, I love it.” She’s not a witch, but she has an attraction to those mystical creatures because they’re fun to write about. So she gave me the rights to her music and she and Lindsey Buckingham are working on a special sort of redo of a song they did about a witch.

Quinn, played by Dianna Agron on Glee tweeted last night (Feb 8th) the following:

"Stevie Nicks and Gwyneth Paltrow and Gwyneth Paltrow and Stevie Nicks. Wonderful and unexpected day."

Speculation runs from Gwyneth is singing "Landslide" on the show, to Gwyneth singing "Landslide" with Stevie making an appearance.  Let's hope!

Inside the Hot Business of 'Glee'
The Hollywood Reporter

In the latest edition of The Hollywood Reporter- on shelves Thursday, Glee creator Ryan Murphy is quoted with the following:

"Besides, Murphy adds, tons of top-notch talent are clamoring to get on Glee. The latest to approach him for guest spots: Stevie Nicks and Jennifer Lopez, both of whom he’s trying to write in".

Personally, I think it would be a smart move by Stevie and would give her and her music great exposure bringing it to a whole new generation that otherwise may not be aware of who she is.
