Stevie Nicks reveals song sample of "I Don't Care"

Check it out... New song sample of "I Don't Care" from Stevie Nicks... Sounds like a swampy rocker! Vocals are really crisp on this one.  I'm liking it!

"I don't care where you go
I don't care what you do
I don't care what you said
I just care that you love me"

I'm not sure this is going to be a great CD, but I do think Stevie had fun recording it, and that's exactly what the recording process should be, esp at this point in her life.

Whereas most of the previous clips profile Stevie's unusual prophetic ability to write lyrics beyond her years, the "I Don't Care" lyrics seem trivial and self destructive. If Stevie wrote the song in her late teens or early 20s, the lack of wisdom is justifiable. I'm just not sure I would sing those lyrics at 66 years of age. I'm not familiar with the demo, so I'm looking forward to hearing where she goes with the remaining lyrics of the song.

It amazes me how people over analyze things - what does it matter if Stevie sings this song at 66?

I'm fairly certain this is one of the songs from 1994 or 1995 - Stevie did say two of the songs were written in 1994 and 1995, the rest from 1969 to 1987. I am looking forward to this song because I think it will be record's big driving rocker.

As with many of these songs, I prefer her early demos....most of which are quite polished. The music arrangement was better back then, and she certainly was in better voice back then.
