Happy New Year Everyone... All the best to you in 2015....

Thanks for checking in with Fleetwood Mac News all through 2014! I appreciate you taking the time and I thank you for all your comments on posts (the good and the bad) and messages by email. Also a massive thank you to Fleetwood Mac for another unforgettable 2014 of great shows and great music.  2015 is shaping up to be just as spectacular with plenty of shows and hopefully that new album we keep hearing about!

Just think... If Stevie and Lindsey didn't join Fleetwood Mac 40 Years Ago Today, New Years Eve 1974, you may not even be reading this right now.... So a special thanks to Stevie and Lindsey for changing a band... and changing lives for the past 40 years.  And a special special thanks to Christine McVie for returning to the music world in 2014 and gracing the Fleetwood Mac stage once again.

This is a great post and to whoever runs this website thank you for all of the amazing information you've supplied to all us fans for these years.

I, like many fans of Stevie's and Fleetwood Mac's, truly believe they are the most fantastic rock band in history. The three songwriter/singers make them the equivalent of a three ring circus, especially in concert. And I have been lucky enough to have seen them first in 1976 and have seen every tour Stevie, Lindsey or the band has done since, usually more than once on every tour. Not many artists whom you fall in love with when you are young fulfill the promise to entertain you live (as well as on record) for your whole adult life to the extent Stevie and the Mac have. I firmly believe what I heard her say in an interview a dozen or so years ago: That the connections that were made early on between them and the fans were so strong that they have never been broken. And they never will be.

Their music does what music is supposed to do. It is there to help celebrate the good times in life, and it is there to help you get through the hard times. What more could you want. Long may they continue! ! !

Thank you for such a wonderful blog on my favorite band. Among my Mac-mates, I'm the one who is always on the cutting edge of everything going on with Fleetwood Mac. I've been checking this site virtually every day for updates for the past 2 years.
Hopes and prayers for a new album in 2015.
