Program Notes
With her bewitching, emotionally charged songs—from “Rhiannon” to “Landslide”, “Dreams” to “Gypsy”—singer/songwriter Stevie Nicks cemented her status as one of the most distinctive female voices in rock history as a member of Fleetwood Mac and through her own solo career. Among her extraordinary accomplishments: over 40 Top 50 hits, 13 Grammy Award nominations, a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1998 with Fleetwood Mac, over 140 million albums sold, and a repertoire that has inspired a generation of artist, songwriters, and performers. In 2012, she now steps behind the camera with another rock legend Dave Stewart (the Eurythmics) with IN YOUR DREAMS – STEVIE NICKS, a behind-the-scenes look at the making of their 2011 album. Join us for a lively conversation with one of rock music’s most distinctive voices.

IN YOUR DREAMS screens on Sunday at Sag Harbor Cinemas.  The conversation with Stevie precedes the screening.

On a side note, does anyone know if Stevie's VH1 Storytellers from years ago was ever put out on DVD? Thanks.

Thank you, that's a shame. It was a great show.

I am so excited for this film! I wish I could attend the screening :-( But I will purchase the DVD as soon as it is released!

Storytellers was slated for a DVD release through Rhino (I remember emailing and calling them to find out a release date when it was listed on their website) but it was cancelled at the last minute by Stevie's camp, according to Rhino. I doubt it ever sees the light of day. I had it on VHS for years but I watched it so much it eventually quit playing. It's not even on YouTube. I wonder if you can contact VH1 and get a copy of it "under the table" - but I doubt it.

How to put any of it kindly? The handling of this film has been a FIASCO from beginning to end. I hope it's good. Very risky. Stevie had better be on pointe as they say, or it's really going to be THE END.

Earlier today the entire website wasn't even working. If you clicked on Stevie's afternoon event you got brought to the Clive Davis film screening.

Everything's fixed but talk about screwy. They def didn't have their s*** together!

I'd just like to say thanks, I live out on the end of long island where this is going to be, and would have never known about it it it were not for this blog!! Bay street theater is a small venue, so it should be a great intimate setting for this interview. So thanks so so much!
