"Secret Love" Video Screen Caps

The daughter of Glen Parrish, Stevie's former Manager, is the younger version of Stevie in the bottom two screen caps... That's Stevie in the top photo.

The video Dave Stewart produced, and is editing hasn't premiered just yet... But we are getting closer.  Teaser number 566 from Dave Stewart screen captures from the "Secret Love" video... Looks awesome even though I have no idea what it means.  But the word "dreamscapes" comes to mind - an adjective Dave used months ago when describing what was being filmed.  So knowing that there is a younger version of Stevie (the daughter of Glen Parrish) in the video and given the fact that the song is from the mid 70's... It looks as if we are going to be travelling back in time.  Coincidently I always thought that the ending of the song Secret Love just before it abruptly ends sounded like the music was in reverse.  Imagine video clips whizzing by at a fair clip while that last bit plays.

"Hey Stevie Nicks Fans , here a few screen grabs from the video we are editing for "Secret Love" from the movie "In Your Dreams" anyone recognize the green dress ?"

Stevie Nicks attended the Sunset Sessions on February 19th in San Diego - a Triple A Radio Industry Event where she held a Meet and Greet with an Album Preview Session for "In Your Dreams", plus a Q&A and this interview below.

Stevie Nicks took a few minutes to chat with Robert 102.1 KPRIFM at Sunset Sessions over the weekend about the recording process for her upcoming album, and hear the story behind the Fleetwood Mac classic, "Landslide".

Stevie also sang with Vanessa Carlton during the Late Night Louge that night. These photos are from the Sunset Sessions Facebook page. You can view the full size versions here
SUNSET SESSIONS FEB 19th: Crystal Bowersox and Vanessa Carlton in one shot with Stevie

Some great parts that never aired the other night can be heard in this full uncut interview. Things like:

  • Stevie and Nikki have a great conversation about song writing and writing in a journal and just basically writing things down in general.
  • And Stevie DOES have a cell phone! A few years ago she had to be evacuated from the Malibu fires in LA and so broke down and keeps a cell phone for emergencies.

Lindsey Buckingham Guests on Stevie Nicks' "In Your Dreams"

Stevie Nicks will release her first solo album in a decade on May 3rd. It's called "In Your Dreams" and her former Fleetwood Mac bandmate and ex-lover Lindsey Buckingham appears on the song, "The Soldier's Angel."

Nicks told VH1 that "it's very serious, it's a song that I wrote about Walter Reed that's called 'Soldier's Angel.' So Lindsey came in and played guitar. It's just Lindsey and me. It's very Buckingham Nicks and I think that it's going to be a very serious and important song to the world and I think it's a very serious and important song for Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks because it sounds like Buckingham Nicks. Because it is."

The smoky voiced singer also said about Buckingham that "it's just him playing guitar and me and he sings with me on the choruses. And it's ominous. It's an ominous song and his voice lent even more ominousity to the whole thing. So I think the world will be really knocked back when they hear 'Soldier's Angel' and I'm really excited for them to hear that."

Are you excited to hear "Soldier's Angel" for the reunion of Buckingham and Nicks?
