Ticket information not yet available.

Stevie Nicks of Fleetwood Mac teamed up with Dave Stewart of Eurythmics fame to create her 2011 album “In your dreams”. Now just ahead of Fleetwood Mac’s UK tour there will be a UK premier of the behind the scenes footage of that process with the film of the same name.

Co-produced and co-directed by Dave Stewart, “In Your Dreams shows the up close and personal musical journey that the two artists embarked on in Nicks’ Los Angeles home as they wrote and recorded an album during what Nicks called “the greatest year of my life”. Nicks felt compelled to share the joyful experience with her fans on what she termed “the day the circus came to town”. The record was co-written by Nicks and Stewart and produced by Stewart and Glen Ballard.

A multi Grammy Award winning artist and Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee, Nicks allowed cameras inside her magical old mansion high atop the hills of LA with a wild cast of musicians and friends. The inner life of the legendary Nicks has by her design long been kept at a distance from the public. We learn in “Dreams” that her world features costume parties, elaborate dinner feasts, tap dancing, fantasy creations and revealing song writing and recording sessions all of which are captured on film. There are cameos by Edgar Allan Poe, Mick Fleetwood, Reese Witherspoon, a massive white stallion in the backyard, owls and naturally a few vampires who appear in several “home movie” style music videos.

In addition to the story of the Nicks / Stewart creative partnership, “In Your Dreams” has plenty of other cinematic payoffs including rare never before seen personal scrapbook stills from Nicks’ childhood and family life and a wealth of candid backstage and performance shots taken over the last 35 years. The documentary was produced by Dave Stewart’s production company, Weapons of Mass Entertainment.

“This is our baby and we give her lovingly into your dreams. From our tribe to yours,” said Nicks.

“She is really real. It doesn’t matter if she is singing in the make-up room or in the middle of a TV interview. She is who she is, and she doesn’t change.” commented Stewart.

‘In Your Dreams’ will be released on DVD and VOD in November. Take a look at the trailer.

Yay! So happy for all the UK/AUS fans! You FINALLY get to see this three year old movie lol!

It's really fantastic! I was expecting something like an episode of "Cribs" but it's not like that. Everything is very "polished" - but it's still a fascinating glimpse behind the curtain!

So excited that you guys get to see it!

Lets hope that this three year old documentary is finally going to be released on DVD format!
Dave/Stevie this is way over due don't you think?

It's kind of too bad that Stevie is still trying to sell this three year old flop. Why doesn't she just release "Live With The Melbourne Symphony" if she wants to show a real gem of filmmaking? The most devout Stevie fans such as myself and music industry film critics alike were disappointed with this Dave Stewart garbled concoction. When it was first released I defended it, but now I realize better. Compare it to Dave Grohl's masterpiece "Sound City" and you'll get my point. Stevie should not have had editorial control of this film if her intent was to produce a legitimate "behind the scenes" documentary. Everything is whitewashed. You won't see Stevie coming down for coffee in the morning without her makeup. Instead I highly recommend the "Backstage Rumors" unreleased documentary. Look it up. It's available. It consists of legitimate unedited backstage footage shot during the Tusk tour and live performances filmed in Japan. The full version is about three hours. It's 35 years old but at least you'll see the REAL unedited Stevie Nicks.

How was 'In your Dreams' a flop?! It made it to #6 on the US album charts and has sold over 500,000 copies worldwide. For a 65 year-old, that is certainly NOT a flop. Also, Rod Stewart's album 'Time' didn't sell anything like IYD in the US....

@ the last 'Anonymous' poster ... I don't think 'Anonymous' #3 was talking about the album, I think he/she was talking about the film exclusively.

I enjoyed the documentary, but it was not the best music doc I've ever seen. I do think it has to be judged solely on what it is, and not against anything else. The poster mentions the 'Sound City' doc ... well that covers several artists/albums and a studio. 'Backstage Rumours' covers backstage footage shot during the 'Tusk' tour and is unauthorized. This covers just one album.

I'm glad UK fans finally get to see this, but I'm more focused on the last line of the article:
"‘In Your Dreams’ will be released on DVD and VOD in November. Take a look at the trailer."

Does this mean it will be released on DVD in November in the UK and the US? I would purchase the DVD, but I would hope that unlike the digital releases the DVD comes with the music videos (all of them, including the unreleased ones she made for this film).

I also would love this documentary to be released on DVD, it has taken a while!!! I do agree with anonymous #3 though as many people over the last 2/3 years have said that IYD is a 'flop' but it clearly isn't. Go Stevie!!!

Maria, it appears the documentary becomes available as Fleetwood Mac hit each country... so I'm sure it will become available once Fleetwood Mac hit Australia and New Zealand.

I can't wait to see the documentary. I pre -ordered it today, unfortunately the deluxe version was sold out! I just hope they offer other things with the release like they did with IYD. Here's hoping
