Sorry, but this is too funny not to comment. I have thought from the annoucement that this was an ill-planned excursion for both Stevie and Rod. Having the queen of rock reduced to an opening act does not sit well with most of her fans. And poor Rod is in for a big surprise whenever he does recover and start this tour. All the Stevie fans in the audience will make it known how bored they are when having to sit through his set waiting for Stevie to take the stage and join him.

I really doubt the wisdon of Stevie's management at this point, they don't always aim her career in the right direction.

I agree,,BUT ANYTIME Stevie is out there performing we are blessed!!
I read that Rod Stewart was having a hard time selling tickets, a situation that drastically changed the minute Stevie was added. She is an opening act for NO ONE!!

Oh Lordy....my dear sweet beautiful Stevie...what were you thinking when you agreed to this???

The mere thought of Rod Stewart on the same stage as Stevie is painful....oh dear...not good.

Saw the show in Tampa, I love Stevie and have forever, we are the same age. She was fantastic and did a great job but Rod was the one the fans were really excited about. Every one sang Rods music with him very few even tried with Stevie and remember I love Stevie.

This is the whole story for those of you in dreamland!Rod Stewart and Stevie Nicks announced that they have joined forces for one of the most anticipated musical events of the year, “The Heart & Soul Tour”. Presented locally by Bright House Networks, the tour will unite two of music’s most legendary forces for a series of arena concerts throughout North America. The tour will feature both artists performing all rock & roll sets from their incomparable catalogs of hits and backed by an incredible band of musicians and stage production. The 13-city tour includes a stop at the St. Pete Times Forum on March 23 at 7:30 p.m.

In a career spanning five decades, with an estimated 250 million album and single sales, Rod Stewart is a Rock and Roll Hall of Famer and indisputably one of the most successful performers of all time. He finished 2010 at the top of both the touring and album charts - highlighted by his critically-heralded, sold-out first run of concerts at The Colosseum in Las Vegas, and a “Boxscore,” chart-topping, 33-date European summer tour which included four sold-out dates at London’s O2 Arena. Throughout his prolific career, he’s garnered 16-Grammy nominations, including his current for “Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album," and sales of more than one million albums worldwide for his 2010 album Fly Me to the Moon…The Great American Songbook, Volume V.

Stevie Nicks, Rock and Roll's reigning queen, will be releasing her highly anticipated new CD In: Your Dreams on May 3, 2011. The new album, her first album of new material in a decade, was co-produced by former Eurythmic Dave Stewart and Glen Ballard. The new album is now available for fans to pre-order at stevienicks.warnerreprise.com. Fans who pre-order the CD will receive an instant download of the record's first single, the Nicks’ penned "Secret Love”. Nicks is a multi-Grammy Award-winning, multi-platinum, Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee and member of Fleetwood Mac. And once again I will state this I love Stevie Nicks!

Went to the concert last night in Atlanta. It was AMAZING! I went primarily for Stevie but Rod Stewart was awesome (even recovering from the flu). I expected the crowd to be much more into Stevie Nicks but I was wrong. Once Rod Stewart took the stage - the place started rocking! The backup musicians for Rod Stewart are unbelievable. If you have a chance - go to this show.

I went to the Tampa show and I concur that Rod rocked. I'm a big Fleetwood Mac fan and I went primarily to see Stevie but Rod stole the show. His energy and charisma were incredible for a 67 year old man.
