Stevie all over "Secret Love" Video...

I think the shot of the young lady on the white horse was about enough to send a few over the edge... After seeing the first shots/stills taken from the "Secret Love" video...Speculators were betting that Stevie wouldn't be in the video...much!  I guess what Dave had to say clears that up!

You KNOW you're a Stevie fan when you see a photo with only a hand in the lower corner and immediately identify it as Ms. Nick's.

Sorry, but I am not trusting Dave Stewart as the salesman of Stevie Nicks. His choice to record Secret Love was not all that inspired. I have so many other old Stevie demo's, which I think are better songs. And his production of the song is OK, but he really added almost nothing to the original demo. The song structure is just as it was, only now professionally recorded.

And as for his video directing skills, this tweet is rather snide. He seems on the defensive to me, and that does not sit well with the lifelong Stevie fan!

I am holding judgement until I see the video (what's taking so long?) and until I hear the entire CD. And I am still wondering why there wasn't a better song to release as the first single.

I bet the new video for "Secret Love" will be great, and I can't wait to see it! Dave Stewart is a very talented artist who knows what he is doing, just look at his work with The Eurythmics. When he works with a gifted vocalist and songwriter, his results, have so far, been really great. Keep the faith, fellow fans :) I wish it was May 3rd right now!!!

He did an amazing job with Secret Love, and mostly because he DIDN'T change it a ton. The polished version, in my opinion, is better than what Lindsay did with the production of The Tower and I love it. The problem I'm finding with hardcore Stevie fans is that they expect a Bella Donna EVERY time a new album is released. And even if (and I hope it is) better than Bella Donna, fans still wont be swayed because of such high expectations. It is no longer 1981, and Stevie is no longer in her early 30's. The only true way to get another Bella Donna is if she re-records it, and I'd personally rather hear new music.

this guy is REALLY starting to annoy me. I see it as he's trying to tell us Stevie fans to "relax".
He wants us to "calm down" as if HE's annoyed with us! He's the one who's SO absessed with Stevie that he's trying to be our (the fanatics) one way stop for Stevie news. He needs to get a life! I am not listening - I will find out what shes up to without you Dave, as I always have!

Dave Stewart is not obligated in any way what so ever to provide ANY info on what he's doing and with what artist he's working with... But I'm thankful he has!! Without him, we wouldn't have nearly the amount of information on this album that we have! And you can probably thank Stevie for that as well as she gave him the "OK" to tweet info... Maybe he sounded annoyed from what he wrote, but after constantly be bombarded with tweets with "where's this.." "where's that... " I would be too! Maybe he was having an "off" moment, like you Sabrina in your judgement of him.

I think the dress the girl on the horse is wearing is Stevie's. Look at the Bella Donna songbook. There's a shot of her in a dress that looks exactly like that one. Makes sense. I don't think Stevie would want anything in a video that wasn't her clothing. But I'm surprised she has the "double" in the video. She's usually about "real" in every way.

It looks very amateurish from these stills with low produciton value. Hopefully I'm wrong.

You know what? I am happy that Stevie...after all these years in the biz...and the dirtbags in corporate everything has affected music...and mostly all of us for the worse...I'm happy she is so excited...blabbing everytime she can with excitement...I'm happy Dave is just as enthusiastic working with her...I'm happy they have a bond of trust...mutual respect...and such fondness for each other that this record is a mystery...insiders are calling Grammy nods already...I'm happy that this will reflect Stevie comfortable enough to emote without stress...whether it be a ballad or a gritty rock song...I love the fact that Stevie came from wealth...and has such a strong work/artistic/fan...ethic...that she has the spark to non stop deliver her music...I'm happy she's still around...I'm happy that she never ever needed to work due to her families weath...and her own combined now...she still rocks with passion. She could have escaped after Rumors...or into Klonopin...or after what happened during Street Angel.
I'm happy that she's happy...and i'll buy her record...with excitement.
having run in the same circle during a peiriod in my life...She's humble with gratitude...generous...she listens to you with intrest...will give you the shawl off her back...and she cries...she's sensitive...she cares for you...and loves to caress your hands and cheek when talking...and she looks right in your eyes when speaking...and she sticks up for friends...and is loyal to the core...she's an awesome human being to have on your side.

What I'm NOT happy about...bitchy, whiny, self righteous, condecending, supeirior, judgemental, complaing...so called fans! Especially when they predict and then slash razorlike over her...and the whole record...songs...videos...etc...

You want a custom made album?
Record your own...
God!

In Your Dreams...

Jim
