Very cool, well except for the Perez Hilton.com logo on the horse. ;-)))

Well I have to admit I was nervous when I saw the 2 new promo shots (the mirror one & the pose with the piano) BUT WOW-Stevie did not disappoint with this. Enchanting & earthy at the same time!! This may soon be my very favorite Stevie album portrait ever, even better than TISL!

I think I like the close up shot that you've had up better than the horse photo. But then it's the music that will matter.

Is the the confirmed CD cover? I don't trust Perez Hilton.

Stunning! Thank you! :-)

As a visual mathematician and portrait artist I see this photo is actually a photo of a photo, and not head-on straight. I'm hoping the distortion present is not the finished photo. Her mouth has been retouched here, giving it a "cut off" appearance on the right side, making the right jaw appear wider than it should be. Yeah. I guess I'm a little picky, but it could be worse. I do love the white horse and the "enchanted forest" theme.

The responses on Perez Hilton mostly think this picture is way too photoshopped. I'm not sure it is, it looks to me like a photo that is 10 years old, and Stevie's face does not look all that good. Almost not even looking like herself. I too much prefer the close up shot with her arms up holding the shawl. That looks like a new picture of Stevie's real beautiful face.

Sorry, but I just hate this cover shot. Stevie Nicks is one of the most beautiful women that has ever walked the face of the earth. And if you at her face in this picture, Stevie looks just terrible. I'd bet the CD' are already printed, but since she had so much time waiting for the album to come out, she should have shown these shots to her fans for our opinions. The picture that you've had up for a while now with her draping her scarf around her arms is a stunning photo, and Stevie looks wonderful. Why did she not choose that one? Such a mistake.

I love how some fans complain for years Stevie Nicks hasn't released anything new. When she finally does, they do nothing but complain even more loudly behind the anonymity of their computers. Worse yet, they criticize her openly as if their opinions carry any merit at this stage of the project...or any other time in her life.

Thankfully, Stevie Nicks stated she did this project first and foremost for herself. I'm sure she's realized by now you can't please everyone.

Here's a suggestion - Rather than verbally criticize the work and lives of people you've never even met (i.e. Stevie Nicks), why don't you take a look at your own lives and critique yourselves. I'm sure many of you would be shocked by how poorly you dress, how unkempt your hair looks, and how insignificant your career contributions are in the over all scheme of things.

If you're really lucky, maybe you'll come to realize criticizing the contributions of another is spawned from selfishness and dissatisfaction with some part of your own life.

Enjoy the new CD everybody! :-)

I wonder how everyone would react to "The Wild Heart" or "Rock A Little" covers if they were to debut today. Surely there would be endless bitchy threads about it.

That said, I think the cover is a gorgeous addition to the Stevie Nicks canon. Undoubtablely this album is going to be a masterpiece.

She is photoshopped in almost every album cover and press image we see of her. It's been going on for years and years with all major stars. Overall, the cover strikes a chord with her first cover as a solo artist. Seems she has come "full circle" with this new CD.

I love the cover of Stevie's new album! It's very dreamy and quite different from any of her other album covers. I really dig the sun flare behind her. From a distance, it's very graphic, balanced, and iconic. The enchanted forest and white horse are cool. The cover is so beautiful, if this is released on vinyl, I shall purchase a copy (along with the CD). I'm a graphic designer and photographer who uses photoshop all the time, and I think this is a wonderful album cover. Can't wait to hear it!

Everyone has a right to express their opinion, but I have to agree with one of the posters about the increasingly hostile criticism directed at Stevie by a very small, but vocal, minority of Stevie "fans." Most of it is projection or opinions/impressions/theories based on misinformation and misunderstanding of the complexity of the music business, etc.

So it turns out Dave Stewart is responsbile for this photo. I am not really liking it as much as the close up shot either. She looks distorted and odd, and in the close up shot she looks great.

Funny how you can be a lifelong Stevie fan and if you say anything less than glowing about anything regarding Stevie, you have all these nasty responses. It's just people's opinions, and we are free to express them. It doesn't mean we still don't love Stevie.

I love the album cover art - even with the slight distortion, which I think was probably intentional. It gives it an uneasy, "dreamy" feeling of altered reality. Its magical and as far as the Photoshopping goes, its certainly not the first time Stevie has used artsy special effects photography on an album cover (thinking of the cover of "Wild Heart" where a second transparent, ghostly image of her is super imposed over another). I think the back cover photography is stunning as well.
